Rutgers University - Newark Reviews
Rating 3.64 out of 5 1,177 reviews
I absolutely love it at Rutgers-Newark! I feel so at home and I truly could not imagine being anywhere else. There is always security everywhere and I can say that I feel safe and when I am on campus. There are plenty of resources available to help further my learning and well being, examples including counseling, workshops, or course tutoring. The professors I have had have genuinely cared about my progress and have always been opening to suggestions and accommodations to best fit my situation. I am so happy to be here and I truly would not have it any other way!
My overall experience at Rutgers-Newark has been eye-opening as one of the most diverse campuses in the country. Coming from a predominantly white town, Rutgers-Newark has provided me with an outlook on different cultures while incorporating the campus into one inclusive culture for all individuals from all backgrounds. I have learned so much knowledge from the Professors and have met amazing people from fellow students, professors, faculty, and even strangers. A part from this, I have grown into an independent woman capable to take on challenges, whether that be from classes or personally, and stay determined to power through in life with good character and morals.
My overall experience with Rutgers University is good I like the environment around me. The school truly cares for its students. The school is known best for some of its majors. For example right now I'm majoring in pre-med. For instance, some labs and lecture halls can be renewed. From my personal experience, Rutgers provides a huge opportunity for its students to interact with each other and join clubs. There are numerous clubs for students to join which helps the students be more engaged and interactive. The professors are always willing to help and always have office hours for people struggling. Overall, Rutgers is a good school and provides its students with great opportunities to be engaged.
