Rockhurst University Reviews
I have had an incredible experience with Rockhurst University so far. I attended in the fall of 2018 to the spring of 2019 and I plan to continue attending there till I graduate in 2022. I appreciate how all the teachers are so helpful and they all go out of their way to make sure every single student recieves the help they need. When I decided to attend Rockhurst University, I was a little apprehensive about my decision due to the fact that I am not part of the Catholic religion however, this did not get in the way of my education and feeling at home. I am currently part of the Rockhurst University Nursing program which has taught me so many great things, overall Rockhurst is an amazing school!
I've been going to Rockhurst for one year now, and I am so glad that I chose this school. I've met some of my closest friends while being here. They have amazing professors and instructors, and I would absolutely recommend this university to anyone!
The campus has a want to be "inclusive" but lacks taking the steps towards achieving this goal. The Resident Halls for the upperclassmen are dirty and unsafe due to mold and exposed wires. The school holds money as a priority over student needs and likes to pour this money into making new things rather than fixing up what is broken. Their food plan doesn't allow you to always eat due to it being closed which is very inconvenient after club meetings, sporting events, and on weekends. Also, the options are very limited and non-changing. The faculty can be great, but the Res Life team is very poor. They created a new workout room for the students, but it is smaller then the previous room and the space is also used for alumni events (can you guess the real reason for the building?). Most importantly, they lied to me about being on track for my degree and didn't tell me until AFTER my graduation date.
