Rock Valley College Reviews
I love Rock Valley Collage, it is a great school, filled with hungry students, and great professors. It is a great way to earn an associate's degree that is way cheaper than starting at a university. They have decent sports teams as well, and a great workout phacility. Great student center, and offer a variety of different courses and trades for people to learn. They have a great police department that takes great care of the campus, and friendly police officers ready to help anyone in need. I would really recommend it to anyone in the local Rockford area!
I am still a student at Rock Valley College, but after completing a year I am pleased to say the least. The Academic Adviser I have been meeting with so far has been super nice and very helpful to me so far. The teachers I have had so far have been nothing short of excellent, and I actually made sure to schedule a class next semester with my favorite teacher. If I were to change anything about RVC, it would simply be to have teachers make the standard general education classes a bit more entertaining. For example, Fall of 2018 I had Elements of Statistics. I couldn't help but start dozing off towards the middle of the class. That's not to say that the teacher was bad. The teacher was great, and always got the point across clearly. I just think teaching would be more effective if he used examples the majority could relate to.
Rock Valley College was always my first option in what college I’d like to attend. It’s close to home, it’s a very nice and well-put college, it has the pathways and courses I’d like to take a part in to my future career being in the medical field, the staff is great, and I can go on! I’m excited to be a RVC Eagle in fall of 2018!
