Rock Valley College Reviews
Attending Rock Valley College was one of the best and smartest decisions I've made. I saved myself so much money taking my general education classes here, I only wish I had figured out what I wanted to do during my time there so I could of taken as much classes as possible towards my degree. The faculty and staff are all very friendly and helpful. All the professors I've had have been passionate about what they teach and that comes across in the classroom and in their interactions with students. The campus is very spacious, clean, and beautiful. I miss this school so much! I wish it was four-year college instead of just a 2-year!
Most of the professors are very caring and want you to succeed. Very affordable. The campus is currently being updated and is very beautiful. Additional parking has been added to accommodate students. Starlight Theatre has great productions. Lots of clubs to join and activities for students to participate in. I didn't participate in housing, but there are lots of apartment complexes nearby. Campus security is always driving around and they are call boxes for emergencies. Lots of food vendors nearby and a couple on campus. RVC caters to all students wherever the are in life to a degree, certifications, continuing education, or just wanting to have fun.
Rock Valley College is a school that allows a student to grow not just in education but as a person. With being a two year community college they do their best to bring the students together for many events especially outdoor activities. The classes taught at this school are perfect for students who plan to transfer later, want a certain certification, or for students who are unsure of their major. The teachers want you to succeed but they make you work for your grade. This, again, allows the student to try and gain better studying and planning skills. RVC has helped me learn how to save money efficiently so I can pay for each semester without needing loans. I’ve grown to be a hard working student who has learned a lot from all of my teachers and am proud to say that I went to Rock Valley College.
