I had a really great experience with Rio Salado as a dual-enrolled student. They offered the courses I was looking for and provided a wonderful online environment. My classes didn't have any live sessions (we had to learn everything on our own) but the professors were very approachable and open to questions. Overall, I had a great time and would do it again in a heartbeat!
What I like about this college is the teachers are very understanding and easy to work with. Even though online learning can be overwhelming, the teachers make it so much less difficult. I feel like I was able to do things on my own time and what worked best for me. I was teaching myself and it was a lot more work but it was rewarding. The benefits is you do not need to go to the school but rather you can work where is comfortable for you without any distractions. You chose what is best on your behalf and that is what I think helped me out because when I am comfortable, I am more likely to want to learn and do the homework. It was my first time doing school online and I recommend it completely. I was able to work a full time job while being a full time student so I was not missing out on money, which is something I stress about being in college. Overall, I loved doing college online and I felt a lot less stressed. Highly recommend.
Rio Salado College Online Learning is a highly useful way of getting anyone from any background to get their first two years of their college education without having to pay a large amount of money one would have to pay at a typical university. In addition to this, there is not a major time restraint with the classes compared to general in-person learning. One thing I do think should be considered is alternating the type of "assessments" for the week. I do believe that making an essay for every single class for every single week can be counterintuitive to creating a "flexible" platform of learning because the essays can be highly time-consuming.
