Rio Hondo is such a great institution!
From the great lab facilities to the great lunches at the café. Rio Hondo offers great staff and a set of wonderful professors who give you the help you need for success. The transfer center also has played a huge roll in my educational path. They are all friendly and very helpful with all the steps needed to transfer to any university. The difference between Rio and other junior colleges they sacrifice their time and refuse to give up on their students. Their love of success for their students is remarkable. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Rio Hondo Community College for its excellent staff and great help for all students on their journey to success!

I'm in a dual enrollment program here at South El Monte High School. I've taken two courses every semester per year. This last semester will be my last semester in this Early College Academy program, as we call it. So far, my experience has been great! The professors came to our school and treated us like college students. It has been a great experience and I can say with confidence that I'm less nervous about enrolling in college courses because I've had a taste on what it's like.
Great institution to get your associates degree! I started at Rio Hondo almost two years ago and I am very satisfied with what I have done, I will be soon be transferring and they always keep you up to date with deadlines, transfers, fasfa and many things. The staff is great, the teachers are excellent people who are willing to sacrifice some time to help you understand a concept, especially during these pandemics times they are even more thoughtful than ever and they comprehend us because they always tell us that they were also students not that long ago. For me it is important to receive this type of help from the professors since I am a first generation student from a low income family and will hopefully be the first of my family to graduate with an associates and soon enough with bachelors and masters from the universities I intend to go to. Therefore, I must insist that Rio Hondo Community College is an excellent and marvelous institution that will always be willing to help!
