Ridgewater College Reviews
I earned two degrees at Ridgewater and I have gone on to be quite successful in my field as a result of the first-rate education I received there. The instructors are incredibly skilled in their field, intelligent, creative in how they present information, and genuinely invested in your success. The facility is continually updated to authentically reflect the environment students will be working in after graduation. Student life is rich with opportunities for extracurricular activities and interests. The tuition can't be beat for the value you receive. Ridgewater College offers every opportunity for success and encourages students to be passionate about their chosen field of study. I highly recommend them.
If you are planning on attending the PARAMEDIC PROGRAM DON'T! You will be teaching YOURSELF. The entire textbook is broken down into 8 courses, which means you pay for almost each chapter as a course. Other paramedic programs you pay for 2 course to include all of the chapters. The clinical hours are 600 hrs so you will have to quit your job and spend alot of money on hotel rooms. Lastly, when you make an appointment to see your instructor, he most likely won't show up and call in sick.
I enjoy the fact that it is a smaller school. The professors all know you by name, show interest in your success, and care about your grades as much as you do. Even though the college is small it has great resources. The gym is free to use and kept up nicely, the cafeteria at the college serves great food for a reasonable price, there are also outdoor resources like a tennis court. I would highly recommend the college to anyone that is looking for an affordable, minimal debt, and high quality education and facility.
