Resurrection University Reviews
As of thus far, Resurrection has exceeded my expectations, especially regarding the staff within my program, imaging technology. The entire radiologic imaging staff wants and aims for their students to succeed and are extremely passionate about both their job and their students. Despite the passion, they are all very knowledgeable within their own respective field. There is quite a diversity within different modalities if the radiologic sciences. For example, despite being professors, some continue to work within the field as CT technologist, some have prior been mammography technologists and others have been managers within the radiology department. This helps the students when it comes to the interviewing process towards the end of the program because the professors are able to give advice of what possible employers are looking for when hiring.
Although online learning has been a challenge for many, Resurrection has made it extremely helpful to try and get through these difficult times. The structure of the online courses are the same as if we, the students, were still attending class. The courses begin at the same time as a normal day, and we are able to interact with our professor through zoom or virtual classroom, instead of recorded lectures. This is beneficial for students because we are able to interact with both the professor and our peers. We are also able to ask any questions about topics we may need clarification on or have concerns with.
Resurrection is great during these COVID times. Many schools in the Chicago area are not allowing clinicals right now, but ResU is. Our graduation date is not being pushed back because if clinical gets canceled they have online clinicals to supplement. The student life department is very helpful and supportive of new students and as you progress through the program.
