I have really enjoyed my time at this school. My professors are all very attentive and helpful. Each instructor has taken the time to help when I have questions or do not understand something. The school was definitely worth the cost. It is an investment that I would make again. I also have had a great experience with simulation opportunities in light of COVID and being unable to be in a healthcare setting as much as I would like to be. The school has really done their best to make the experience fulfilling and supportive in regards to our education. I have attended public university prior, and my experience here has been much better and more supportive of my education. If you are interested in a career in healthcare, I would encourage you to explore this school. There are many options for majors and many locations across the country. There truly is something for everyone! I would consider going back and continuing my education there in the future as well. Please consider! Five stars!
Rasmussen College is excellent in very many ways! For instance, guiding you through the whole process of signing up, preparing for classes, and continue working with you when you start classes whether it’s online or in the classroom. All my teachers were amazing, reachable, helpful and encouraged me when I wanted to give up. I took a break after I had my children but I’m in the process of returning and they have been amazing !
Like most schools, the Rasmussen nursing program has pros and cons. It is fast paced with little room for error and requires some serious self motivation. Most of the main instructors are wonderful, knowledgeable, and supportive. Several of the clinical instructors left something to be desired. As with most things in life you will get what you put into this program. One of the greatest things about this nursing program over some others is that all of the exams are NCLEX style meaning when you go to take your NCLEX you will know what to expect and be well prepared. Cons to this school: A lot of disorganization, some questionable billing practices, and not the best clinical opportunities. In the end nursing school is damn hard no matter what school you go to! If you are prepared to put your all into it you can and will be successful at this school.
