Rasmussen College - Romeoville/Joliet Reviews
Rasmussen College in Romeoville, IL is an ideal place for any person looking to get into college straight from high school, or if you are looking to further your education later in life. The staff is courteous, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I, personally, am in the nursing program and the clinical sites are inclusive of skilled nursing homes, community based hospitals, and specialty hospitals depending on the correlating coursework for the semester. The instructors, preceptors, and adjunt faculty are very professional, insightful, and always willing to teach you. If you attend Rasmussen College for the nursing program, you will get the education that one would get at an expensive university, but with the individualized attention you deserve. The staff and program allow you to build confidence in the clinical setting, and help you to develop the clinical and interpersonal skilles that will allow you to become a competent nurse in the clinical setting.
My experience at this college has been awesome. This is my first time attending a community college. It is very different from the big university that I went to right after high school. What I like most is the kindness of the staff. Everyone from the front desk ladies to the campus director are nice. I am in the nursing program. Also, the class sizes are nice and small. The staff care about you as a person and want you to be successful. What I would like to see changed is the number of classrooms. The building is rather small and we have to wait in the hallway before having class.
Rasmussen was my first choice when choosing a nursing school. The campus had amazing reviews and the courses so far have been great. The professors seem genuinely interested in their students careers and the dean of the school has done a great job organizing academics. It's a cozy campus with everything you need without just feeling like a number. I am excited to see how my education experience here continues.
