Rasmussen College - Rockford Reviews
I just finished my first quarter at Rasmussen, and my experience has been great. The professors that I had were very reasonable and empathetic. Starting out was rough, because it was something new that I had to get adjusted to and learning to maneuver around. Needless to say, having empathetic & reasonable professors when you are lost and new to the scene is very helpful. The resources available is great. I have not once regretted selecting to obtain my Bachelor's degree through Rasmussen. One thing I would like to see change is the way the CBE courses assignments are graded. In my opinion the assignments should be graded on an averaging level and not having your lowest grade be the determinant of your final grade for the assignment. I have not investigated as to why it is done this way, however I think it is injustice.
It is wonderful that Rasmussen College does not have a waiting list to get into their Nursing program and they also have start dates four times a year. I like the fact that Rasmussen has a fast track program for the Nursing program, however, I wish that there were more options available for days and times of classes. You do not get to choose your days and times of classes, they are very limited and they expect you to work your life around your school schedule.
Currently enrolled in the second semester of nursing program. It is an accelerated program, and there is a lot of homework to do. They have a lot of resources that help students with their homework. So far the teachers are really nice and helpful, but the school staff might take too much time to answer my questions.
