Like most schools, the Rasmussen nursing program has pros and cons. It is fast paced with little room for error and requires some serious self motivation. Most of the main instructors are wonderful, knowledgeable, and supportive. Several of the clinical instructors left something to be desired. As with most things in life you will get what you put into this program. One of the greatest things about this nursing program over some others is that all of the exams are NCLEX style meaning when you go to take your NCLEX you will know what to expect and be well prepared. Cons to this school: A lot of disorganization, some questionable billing practices, and not the best clinical opportunities. In the end nursing school is damn hard no matter what school you go to! If you are prepared to put your all into it you can and will be successful at this school.
Rasmussen's staff and systems are excellent! The staff is hands on, reaching out to students at all points from enrollment to classes. Understandable tutorials are provided on almost any topic and resource that student's may encounter. Tutors who are personable and knowledgeable are available for additional assistance, and will work around a student's schedule. The professors I have encountered were knowledgeable and well prepared.
Rasmussen College is by far the best college that I have attended. They have awesome counselors that are there for you no matter what you need, amazing teachers that offer additional help in areas that you’re struggling in and awesome tutors that are there for you every step of the way. I attend this college for their amazing nursing program, and nursing can be very intimidating; but RASMUSSEN has the best teachers around and an awesome nursing program!
