My first semester at KU my freshman year I fell in love with my school. The professors are extremely helpful, we have so many resources that are provided for us, and there's a place for everyone. Even though KU is a big school with a lot of students, KU is a very home-like place and once you're a Jayhawk, you've instantly become a part of another family. I feel so blessed that I get to KU and I wouldn't want to go to any other school.

A common phrase K-State students say is "BOOM. CATS. MEOW." To be honest, the first time I heard someone say that phrase I wasn't a fan. I thought it was kind of strange and didn't really understand what it meant. The other day it hit me and I was like "BOOM! CATS! MEOW!" I believe this quote describes my school perfectly. Why? The word boom means how beautiful and great the campus is, cats stands for how many amazing people I have met and become friends with, and meow reminds me of how welcome and loved I felt the first time I stepped foot on campus. I love my school and couldn't image going anywhere else.

I am a junior now. I love the fact that I am at a small school where I can get to know a lot of the people. It is also nice when the professors know you rather than just being a number. For such a small school and community, we have build a strong atmosphere and support one another. I have created many great memories and can't wait for more.

The workload is not that bad, the curriculum is very similar to other universities, and the biology department is very good.

I haven't come across that many scholarship/job opportunities, however.

Small Town Vibe – All of the professors are nice and friendly to work with. Classes are small and so is the campus, which is nice because everyone knows everyone and that makes it fun to work with everyone.

The school has a great community and lots of stuff to do. There are people from all walks of life and you're sure to find some to get along with. The Philosophy and Theology departments are outstanding. What makes the school just OK is the low quality of its food and water (and I mean the stuff is BAD), an unfortunate number of unhelpful professors, and the minimal amount of care put into facilities.

Newman University has lost it Catholic Identity. The admission staff treats the campus as if it were a public school and not a private. In the few years I have been here The admission staff and cabinet has decreased the personal feel that was once Newman. In the classroom the professors, for the majority, are very helpful and willing to help students succeeded. However, it is not an easy ride Newman has a way of weeding people out, but that's why the acceptance rate into graduate schools from Newman is so high.

Friends University is a great place to go to school. I have made so many memories already and it is only my second year. Being a part of the volleyball team has been a great experience, I have learned so much and made so many friends. If i could choose over again i would not choose a different school.

I go to a small school, so a lot of the opportunities are not there for us. It is nice that we have the small classes though because it is more one on one help from the teachers. The workload is not too bad here at least for me. I am about to be going into my senior year after this semester and it does not seem like the school is really interested in helping me find an internship that year and that is a little frustrating.

I came here to play soccer and I ended up choosing school over my sport because it is more important to me. It has been a hard transition but the school makes up for it and all my friends that I have made here help as well.

I wouldn't choose this school again. This school is convenient because it is my hometown. I have went elsewhere and it was a much better experience for students. There are not enough activities on campus. WSU has a plus/minus system and you have to pay to park and you are not guaranteed a spot.

I'm planning to attend this university because I've heard that it offers a great nursing program, the university is absolutely old, but that doesn't mean that it's not a great school with amazing professors and staff that are willing to communicate and help you.

The people are what drew me to Ottawa, they were so nice and genuinely cared about you and your family. That did not change in the one year I have attended Ottawa. The only drawbacks I encountered while attending the university was that I was paying for a parking pass when there was very limited parking. They would require us to park in neighborhood streets which people's cars been broke into and I personally got a call from security saying a resident wanted me to move my car because it was in front of their property. Parking is a huge inconvenience to everyone there and I do not see why we have to pay seventy dollars for a parking pass when the university does not supply an efficient amount of parking spaces.
