Purdue-Fort Wayne, it’s a gigantic little school, packed with school spirit! Tons of things to do on campus, and close enough to awesome things to do off campus. I would’ve liked a bit more engagement and guidance during my first couple weeks/month, as I had a hard time adjusting to school life after being out of school for 10+ years prior. It might be better for those coming fresh out of high school. All in all it is a pretty good school, professors act like people, at least the ones that I encountered did, they seemed to enjoy what they were doing and engaged those that reached out.
I have grown to really enjoy many aspects of Purdue Fort Wayne! The college is a nice size, not too small and not too big. I enjoy all of the different spots for studying, and the close proximity to anywhere you might want to go for something to do. The housing is very nice, given that you get to have your own private space, while also being able to make connections with roommates as well. I have yet to have any issues with professors or faculty!
Purdue Fort Wayne is a great school, I like how it is local because that ensures that I can cut down on some of my college expenses. For instance, things like food, housing, and other things of that sort tend to be easy and a bit relaxed as well. Also, I enjoy how when I was a freshman there was a lot of writing involved in our assignments, and that just introduced me to what writing college papers would be like while I am in college. All in all, I have been thrilled and quite impressed with what I have seen with PFW. #GoMAstadons!
