For the most part I love PNC(now PNW), the people that I am in classes with are great and make amazing study partners. Most all of the professors are accommodating and understanding and really want their students to succeed. I love the fact that the classes aren't huge yet aren't small it gives you one on one time with your professors and makes it to where students don't feel nervous to ask questions in class and have their learning needs met!
Review Your College
PNC implemented Pride Week the first week of classes. Students are greeted by current athletes and coaches explaining what their program has to offer if you are interested. The students, athletes and non, form teams, which compete and interact in a variety of events throughout the week. Even though we are competing with other teams, there is an over-whelming aura of comradery within the student body as a whole. We support each other and cheer one another on, thus forming the bond we all share...PURDUE BOILERMAKERS!!!!!

During this week, we are also given a tour of the athletic department and facilities. This building and all that it offers is available to all students free of charge. Some of the many amenities offered are: a full-size swimming pool, state-of-the-art workout room, numerous basketball, tennis, and racquetball courts.

PNC offers nearly every sport that a regular on-campus college has. The athletes and coaching staff are very inviting to anyone interested in being a part of the program. The students enjoy attending the competitions, especially those held at home. The vibe around campus is much like that of your local high school during homecoming week. For me it provides a familiar, at-home feel, which is quite comforting at times when life seems to be moving at an accelerated speed toward my future, adult life.
My college has the privilege of being part of Purdue, while providing the advantages of a quite, personal local school. Most class sizes are 40 students or less, therefore the interaction with the instructor is more personal. All of my professors are extremely helpful with generous office hours to further assist you as needed. The campus has a beautiful rural appeal rather than the noisy, crowded, and fast-paced environment of a large college-town.

My favorite experience so far has been my freshmen orientation and first week of classes. The theme and mood of the event was like that of a pep rally. It was full of school spirit, welcoming to new students, and helped relieve a potentially stressful situation. It was the kick-off to Purdue pride week, which was filled with fun activities, opportunities, and prizes. I can't emphasize how comforting PNC made my transition and aided me in forging new friendships with my new classmates at a new school.
