Current student, about half-way done. There is a high turnover rate in professors. Only some are helpful and caring while others are plain mean and completely discouraging. If you speak up about certain teachers or issues, you become public enemy #1. And nothing will get done about the teachers poor reviews, even after YEARS in a row. The new campus feels safe and looks great. Equipment seems to be getting updated often. But you cannot transfer credits out of Platt. Just do your research!
All the Professors and staff are friendly, and helpful. The curriculum is difficult but all the Professors work together to incorporate details to bring the learning together. Of all the colleges their are to choose from, I'm glad I chose Platt
I appreciate that many of our instructors are currently also working in the nursing field and many others are currently pursuing their Masters or Doctoral Degrees. While the tuition is a bit higher than other BSN programs, their process for transfer credits was simple and their financial aid team is spectacular. The administrative team takes time to engage with all students and requests course feedback at the end of each quarter. The pace is fast being an accelerated program, but there are many resources available to students and the faculty goes the extra mile to make themselves available to assist. The smaller classes (less than 25 students per cohort) makes it so that everyone gets one on one instruction and offers ample time to address questions and concerns.
