I was recently accepted into PMI Mesa (April, 2022), and I have to say I am beyond impressed as of current. My start date is August 31, 2022 and I am extremely excited. I attended the orientation session to meet classmates and instructors which was helpful to become familiar with the program and peers that will be in my classes. We were even able to meet with two current students in the program which informed us what to expect and how successful the ADN process at PMI is, which is necessary. I feel proud of my choice selecting a school with compassion to students and staff. Financial aid is offered and grants, which staff walks you through to ensure the best choice. Also, scholarships are available and continued education with reimbursement. This is the best choice I have made in my medical profession.
I like that Pima offers an accelerated nursing program that is 20 months. There is no waiting list, unlike the other state colleges. It is definitely very expensive... When it comes to nursing, there is so much content to learn, so be prepared to spend a lot of time teaching yourself. The teachers are really good and seem to prepare you for the NCLEX during each lesson and test.
Pima medical is a school that will go out of its way to make sure you pass. The people are very friendly and very family oriented. From what I’ve experienced so far the enrollment process is very easy and sufficient!
