This is my second year attending PTC and I can only say good things about it, my experience here is amazing and I definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in attending. The instructors at PTC seem to be very passionate about their field and determined to make their students Job-Ready. My instructor is very knowledgable about the subject and teaches it very well its always easy to follow along and he always pushes you to be the best you can be. For this I love PTC and I feel as if I am ready to go into the workforce if I wanted to, I feel ahead of other students learning the same subject because of how amazing my experience was with this school.
I've visited Pickens Technical College all of around three times. The first night was very efficient and flowing seeing as how it was registration night and my sister was starting hr first years as a cosmetologist. The second time I went was in order to help my sister verify her classes after what I think was an unknown mishap with the system. The third time I went as a favor to my sister to practice he trade on. The teachers let the student be very self-guided and easy paced. There was no strict authority nor supervision as to what the student had going on which I thought odd. Overall, the environment felt different each time. Whether it was a good different or a bad different is still on the fence with me. Maybe it depends on your reason for visiting the campus because I wasn't overly impressed, but I wasn't disappointed either.
