Philander Smith College Reviews
Philander has alot to give back to the community. This Social Justice College has given students the opportunity to fulfill dreams and even make wishes come true. Organizations like The Philander Smith Collegiate Choir, still gives the school enough recognition to be on top of most private HBCUs. The choir is one of the most popular organizations at the school, bringing in funds and notoriety. Academics are great as we all can tell by the Annual Honors Convocation. Greek Life is expanding and Campus Royalty seems to never disappoint their subjects. Philander has taught many people the importance of friendship and loyalty and even about how to live in our best days. Philander Smith College prepares its students to go out into the world to be the best them and to not have to be scared of whatever challenges that come their way. I love my HBCU!
My experience at Philander Smith College is nothing short of great. Like anything in life it can have it's ups and downs but through it all my experience has been a great one. This can be attributed to my fellow peers, the professional staff and the overall campus environment. The quiet scenery on campus allows for me to focus on my studies and not get as distracted as larger schools, the small class sizes makes it possible to develop personal and productive relationships with my peers and my professors.
I came to Philander because it’s is set close in a natural zone, near forests, trees m, mountain and river. What I like about this school is the people there are really nice. Coming from Africa to America alone with no family members in America was a huge decision. But philander took me as family. The professors teach in-depth: they don’t just lecture. The staff, students are just warm. I love it. I’ll attend philander Smith college a million times
