PennWest California Reviews

PennWest California has given me quite the experience so far! Not only do I feel so welcomed in the community because I know some friends from high school, but also all of the staff and educators are so very welcoming and understanding. I love the organization of classes and also how my professors are extremely systematic with their lectures, and they make sure we get the most out of the lesson.
Fixating on change, I feel that for the most part, everything should stay as it is. The only slightly concerning factor is the amount of classes that are online. Some of us find online classes difficult, depending on the class, and this can be stressful.

At PennWest California, I like the variety of classes I can take. I am only a sophormore but I really enjoyed the topics in my classes I had last year. I love our campus because it is relaxing to be on. Beauiful buildings and not too big where you could get lost. The resources here are very helpful in setting students on the right path. What I would like to see change would be better organization of onine platforms. With the merging on two other colleges with Cal U, finding the answers you need are harder to find because it can get confusing online. Another change I would love to see is better access and possibly free computers for students with financial aid issues. Overall so far with my journey are PennWest California I've had amazing experiences with the staff and other students. My mother graudated from Cal U and I could not be happier to graudate from the same school!
The environment at California University of Pennsylvania is rated friendly for everyone, even concluding outside community members of all areas. Many events hosted to bring students together, residents of the campus and commuters to ensure an amazing experience for everyone. To my experience with communication can be better, but this is due to a matter of the integration of the three schools (California University, Clarion University, and Edinboro University) interfering a little with that matter. Everything else has been spot on!
