Penn State is a great place to learn at. Typically, students can choose to go the 2+2 route which allows them to start at another campus for two years and then transfer up to University Park campus for graduation. Penn state is well known as a research school and provides students with endless resources to further their education. The professors are all professional and are passionate about what they teach. Campus life is amazing as long as you put in the effort to get involved. There are plenty of resources to get you in the zone and allow you to socialize with others, and most importantly future employers. They offer many career fairs throughout the year that is great for getting interview experience, or even internships and employment after graduation. Great place to be! We are PENN STATE!
Review Penn State
So far my Penn State experience has been amazing. Penn State's atmosphere and opportunities are far better than I ever expected. State College is filled with welcoming community and a small town feel. As a Smeal business student, I could not imagine a school providing as much real-world opportunities and career building events as Penn State. The key to surviving such a huge school is really to get involved from the very beginning. Whether it be Greek Life, THON, or any other club, it's important to put yourself out there and make the school smaller for yourself!
I enjoy attending Penn State University. I decided to go to their online campus, Penn State World Campus, as I live in Illinois instead of Pennsylvania. I attended a two year college after graduating high school and received my associates degree in social sciences; however, I was unable to further my education at the time. A few years later, I was a mother of a one year old, currently pregnant and working at a Domestic Violence Agency; I found the thought of continuing my education scary. Penn State has made it easy for myself and my family. Now, after two years I will be graduating this December and I am so thankful!
