I love Penn State. It's a beautiful campus with so many students, faculty members, organizations and every day events that you not only get a top notch education, but the chance to find yourself and grow. Tons of majors and classes to select from. Any interest you have, you will find people and clubs who love it too. Anywhere you go in the country, there is a Penn State alum! Our name alone does wonders. I have taken advantage of all of the opportunities for leadership, mentorship and workshops here. High tuition, especially for out of state students is what I would like Penn State to change. It increases constantly and rates for upperclassmen always go up.
Review Penn State
Penn State is a great place to learn at. Typically, students can choose to go the 2+2 route which allows them to start at another campus for two years and then transfer up to University Park campus for graduation. Penn state is well known as a research school and provides students with endless resources to further their education. The professors are all professional and are passionate about what they teach. Campus life is amazing as long as you put in the effort to get involved. There are plenty of resources to get you in the zone and allow you to socialize with others, and most importantly future employers. They offer many career fairs throughout the year that is great for getting interview experience, or even internships and employment after graduation. Great place to be! We are PENN STATE!
Penn State has hundreds of opportunities for everyone. Sadly, the partiers have recently given PSU a bad reputation. But, PSU is creating new policies and enforcing old ones to keep everyone safe. Penn State is so much more than a "party school," as I've heard it been called. There are over 160 majors available and over 1,000 clubs, sports, or organizations. RA's and other mentors organize activities to help students bond with each other, so making new friends is no problem. WE ARE!
