Penn Foster College Reviews
I’ve been studying the Veterinary Assistant Program since June and it’s been a pretty good experience thus far. It’s a lot of reading with no teacher instruction/ guidance which makes it a little harder for me because I like interactive assignments, presentation, etc. but using YouTube videos and the Penn Foster Vet Assistant Facebook group helps! There are instructors you can speak with if you ever need help, but it an “at your own pace” course, so there aren’t any meetings or classes you have to participate in to get a grade. In the end, it’ll all be worth it once I get to apply what I have learned in the course to my externship where I can be more hands on.
I am currently enrolled in Penn Foster College and I can honestly say I am enjoying the program. I am working on an Associates Degree and Penn Foster has made it available to all sorts of people to earn a Degree by offering flexibility. I work full time so for me Penn Foster was a go to college because I can do school work at any time and place. The fact that they give goal dates to schedule your course work and exams, help in maintaining focus and determination. I love to see how my goal tracker keeps growing by each assignment and test I complete. I love that it is very accessible and very affordable and can work with you in choosing a payment plan that works for you. If I had to change something, it would have to be the shipping time. It takes 3-5 business days to arrive and if you're like me, I can complete several assignments in a day. For me, having to wait that amount of days means I get behind in my goal but it's nothing major. I love everything about the program.
I've taken several programs with Penn Foster. Just finished my first semester for the Bachelor in Business Management program. It is a challenging program. You need to be self-disciplined and determined. If you have questions, someone is either a phone call, email, or community forum away. No complaints so far. I pay my tuition with auto pay, no problems. It's nice to set my own pace while dealing with family responsibilities. The content is interesting as well.
