I had a great experience at Patten University. I was a full-time employee, and had a lot going on. The student advisors and professors were there with you every step of the way and this is what helped get through my degree program. Best experience ever for someone returning to school after 10 years.

Patten appeared to be a great solution for a working adult to go back and earn a degree, but there were two areas in particular that made this a challenge. The first is the self paced approach. It you are good with your time management this may be a terrific solution. For me I'm a bit of a procrastinator and I ended up waiting too long between assignments and ended up competing only a single course per term.

Second, Patten provides an easy to follow roadmap to your degree. This is great for students who just want to be told what to take, but for students who enjoy having some say an alternative school may work out better.
I am a new student to Patten University and I have been very impressed with the quick and helpful enrollment by the enrollment advisors. I have completed one course so far and everything they advertise seems to be very honest. Patten online is very user friendly and very flexible for a full time working adult with a family.
