Ottawa University - Phoenix Reviews
My experience at Ottawa University in Surprise at the Civic Center was completely outstanding. I was amazed with the campus and how ebullient the staff and students were there. I was congratulated when the staff and students heard about signing for volleyball there. I feel safe when I step right on campus and I can not wait to attend there. What I would like to see change is see their campus grow and expand!
I attended Ottawa University's Master of Arts of Professional Counseling program, and I enjoyed every minute of the time I spent there. Their professors are knowledgeable in their content areas, and willing to have further discussion on a topic if it is clear that the majority of the class is struggling to grasp the concept. Classes were diverse, with students coming from a variety of ethnic as well as generational (my classmates ranged in age from their twenties to their sixties) backgrounds. The only thing I did not like about Ottawa was its location; not only was the campus building located in a less-than-favorable area of Phoenix, the fact that it was in Phoenix made for a long drive to and from class for me. Thankfully, each class was only one night a week, so I did not have to make that drive every day, just once or twice a week, depending on my class schedule.
Its a brand new school, with a great curriculum. Ottawa University gives you the chance to experience a new journey that anyone can create. There are many advantages to going to Ottawa University. The main thing that Ottawa gives, is a chance to meet new studetns and connect with the staff in a one on one setting.
