Orion College Reviews
Allied Health is 100% student-focused. From admissions, to financial aid, to every single professor you work with. The tuition is reasonable and includes national certification exams depending on your field. I graduated from the Medical Billing/Coding program and although it was incredibly tough (I was also working 50 hrs/week), my academic advisor and professors were there to address every question or concern I had. I even had their cell phone and could shoot a text when there wasn't time for a conversation. The lectures are informative, the student atmosphere is very supportive, and their career services department are relentless and won't stop until you are working in your field. I am preparing to return for my Associate in Healthcare Management and can't wait to get back in the mix of things. If you're on the fence about this school, pull the trigger. AHI is a hidden gem and you'll be hard-pressed to find a program online that offers such a flexible and organized approach to the Healthcare Industry.
I included my review in the first question. However I will reiterate how committed Allied Health Institute is to their students. Their programs are challenging and very fast paced, and therefore require a lot of discipline, attention to detail, and consistent attendance. It is unlike any other online format I've seen, your attendance still counts towards your overall grade and it is a great motivating factor to log in everyday and complete your assignments section-by-section. As opposed to waiting until the day before your deadline and stressing yourself out. If you are willing and dedicated, you will learn a lot at this school.
I have had the best experience at the above mention school. The registration process, professors, etc, have been professional. The online courses are live which something that I have never experience is. In the past, I have taking online classes but to see and hear a professor online and for the professor to go into depth about a specific topic is awesome! My personal opinion about Allied Health Institute is for students to succeed and not FAIL! I am so thankful to have chosen this school.
