Oklahoma State University Reviews
OSU has about 25,0000 students, but it is in a small town and has a family-like atmosphere! They have incredible donor support with most of the buildings updated or in the process of being updated, and the university is committed to providing a quality education for its students. As an Agriculture and Engineering land grant school in the Midwest, they are dedicated to research and there are ample undergraduate research opportunities available. In addition, there are over 200 student organizations to get involved in, and free student resources are available for everyone. The population is diverse, with over 100 nationalities represented on campus, and there are plenty of campus activities for students to partake. OSU does a great job of developing young people into adults with a well rounded education and college experience, and I loved every minute of my time in Stillwater.
Best school ever! Attended Oklahoma State in 2017 and sadly transferred in 2019 for nursing. If it wasn't for my major I never would have left! The classes might be big (especially basic science classes) but the professors really take their time to meet with you if you are needing help. Especially your lab TA's, they really want you to succeed and prove that by answering all of your questions. I was involved in Greek life as well. It was good, but it takes a certain person to enjoy it. Calf fry is also an amazing time. The town of Stillwater is very beautiful and has a lot to do/eat as well! OSU is a great school and an awesome life experience. America's brightest orange and America's best university!
Oklahoma State University (OSU) is a wonderful campus. The area is beautiful all times of the year, to me, at least, the people are kind, and there are many options for food, so there is something for everyone. On top of this, the university really pushes its own job searching program, which really makes finding work easy. The only problems I have had with OSU thus far are the lack of parking close to the center of campus and the fact that the hall I stayed in my first year, Stout Hall, is basically falling apart and has not been updated in a very long time. All in all, I would say my experience here has been far more positive than negative. Go pokes!
