Oklahoma State University Reviews
Oklahoma State is an amazing university. The campus is beautiful especially during the spring, there are always new buildings being built thanks to sponsors. Coming from out-of-state seemed intimidating but everyone you meet on campus is so genuine and will help you with whatever question you have. The sporting events are my favorite, there is nothing better than waving your hand along with everyone else when the Cowboys score!
While the campus is welcoming, the academic experience at OSU is lacking. Most classes are filled with average students just hoping for a passing grade, little to no discussion, and ill-prepared professors. Greek life overwhelms campus, and there is nothing to do outside of it. The campus itself is nice, but some dorms are almost 1 mile from the main parts of campus. For students hoping to pursue grad school after college, OSU will not prepare you!
Oklahoma state has a very welcoming atmosphere to incoming freshman. There are a lot of extra curricular activities to get involved with to keep yourself busy. They have all the resources anyone could ask for like study rooms, tutors, and engineering labs. I haven’t had any problems with the professors so far and I think for the most part they are all great. I am excited to see my journey as I continue on as an Oklahoma State Cowboy!
