OSU - Institute of Technology in Okmulgee, OK, is suffering from poor advertising. It really is a great technical / technological school, with degree programs such as Toyota, Ford and Chevy mechanics degrees, land surveying, information technology, instrumentation and graphic design, but it seems like no one knows about this gem of a school! Campus is small and accommodating; staff is helpful; student life offers a lot of benefits and activities. Okmulgee is a smaller town with some things to do, but it's close to Tulsa as well, so just about anything you want to do is only a 20-minute drive away.
My experience with OSUIT has so far been really good, if you have a problem with anything, they work quickly and effectively to get it resolved within a reasonable time. The instructors are very professional and it is obvious they care about our education and careers after we graduate. So far so good, very impressed!
I enjoy it here and the professors genuinely care about you individually and personally. I love my info-tech classes and how the professors have managed to guide us into programming and basic computer hardware so far. I am unsure about the dorms as some smell moldy or have worse internet than others. The food is great too and I swear by the nice cafeteria staff when I see them every morning giving me my usual biscuits, eggs and gravy! A good school to go to, although I'm hoping scholarships come in so I can stay here haha
