Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology - Okmulgee Reviews
Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology- Okmulgee. I've went on a school tour one day and I'd loved it! I felt like this college would be the one for me because it had the career I wanted to do and most of all, it was very affordable!
Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology is my home away from home. By being a student here is taught me how to step out of my comfort zone and socialize with strangers that have now become my friends. OSU-IT has a great campus, it is really easy to get from place to place and the cafeteria is better than expected. The dorms here are also very nice and pleasant to stay in, it is normally quiet which makes it easy to study. My professors are outstanding, they have already helped me in ways I cannot believe. I have enjoyed my time here and hope to enjoy it till the day I graduate.
I enrolled in this college seeking to get a degree that once received did not net me anything near the industry standard. I understand that oklahoma is not the best when it comes to IT but the median range for this field is currently $40-$50k and I am only receiving $30k with a bachelors degree and 4 certifications all related to my job. I was told by upper management that this was because I received a degree from a technical school instead of a real university. Something that osuit does not openly advertise.
