My experience at Oklahoma City University has been a great one so far! I am a transfer student majoring in Business. When one of my advisors from community college mentioned an institution that offered a great amount of scholarships to business majors, I knew Oklahoma City University was a great fit for me financially. Not only does OCU provide scholarships, but there is a strong connection among the students and professors. The classes are smaller and there is more involvement in discussions. OCU takes in consideration of developing future leaders in our community and in the industry we attend to. I am thankful to attend to a great institution. I encourage any upcoming college students to consider applying to OCU.
It is amazing! They are so informative and kind at this school. It’s such a wonderful community. The professors are super intentional and relational. They truly want the students to succeed, and the students feel supported. The amount of education I have received within my major and with relation to the world has been phenomenal.
I have really enjoyed my time at OCU. Professors are knowledgeable, and class sizes are small enough that professors have the time to really get to know you. Most of my classes had around 20 students.
There are many opportunities on campus, especially considering the small size of the school. Though there are only ~3000 students, the world-class performing arts programs draw students from across the country. I have had the opportunity to meet many peers and friends who are vastly different from me. I have learned almost as much from them as I have my professors.
