Oklahoma City Community College was perfect for starting out my journey through college. I completed high school online, and before that I was in a private school. Because of this, I was a little intimidated integrating into a traditional school for the first time. OCCC allowed me to make this transition with no trouble. It truly is like a community in which people care about you and want you to succeed. The classes are smaller which makes it easy to connect with classmates and make friends. The teachers are communicative and make their coursework easy to understand. They provide good study materials and make the course expectations clear. OCCC is also a very affordable option, which is great when you’re just starting out. It has very helpful resources like the writing center, where people assist you in building upon your language skills. It is easy to find help when you need it. All in all, my experience here was smooth sailing, and I wouldn’t hesitate to apply here!
Oklahoma City Community College has the necessary "tools" for success for anybody willing to further their education to have the best opportunity for a great career in the journey of life! I recommend this community college, the instructors are very well educated in the fields they teach in. They work well with others. And are always willing to help outside of the classroom just so the student will succeed in the career field they choose. I am glad I chose this community college. I am currently enrolled in the automotive technology course and the automotive tech instructors are great! And they have a great way in explaining to the students what is being taught. Everybody has the best opportunity to succeed in Oklahoma City Community College! Everybody is helpful and nobody gets left behind! Staff, instructors and even the students always have a helping hand. I rate my success and experience for anyone wondering about Oklahoma City Community College as a 10 out of 10. You will go far!
I have taken 4 different courses through Oklahoma City Community College through concurrent enrollment these past few years in high school. All of my classes were online, but in all of my classes, there has been no sense of connection or community while taking the classes. I believe that having a strong connection to your peers and professors is vital when pursing education you are interested in. I learned great material in all four of my classes and do not regret taking them! I hope that OCCC stays strong in their material and becomes stronger as a community by being connected.
