Ohio University Reviews
Ohio University is worth the college experience and money. The environment is similar to what you always dreamed a "college scene" would be as a child. The sand volleyball and outdoor activities as you start your semester, along with the friendly atmosphere makes you feel warm and welcomed. The fall season changes to the most magnificent colors. The teachers are willing to work with you, as long as you communicate. Diversity is big here at Ohio University. Be respectful to people of different backgrounds and sexuality. The party part of Ou is what you make out of it, if you like going out then you will enjoy your time out!
Ohio University is a beautiful campus that has plenty of opportunities and people to meet. The University is open to all walks of life and is continuing to grow in order to cater to all individuals. There are plenty of activities for visitors, staff, and students. OU's academics have assisted me in pursuing my career goals as well as introducing me to new topics that I never would have thought I would be interested in! The University will challenge you in various ways to help you grow as an individual.
The best part of Ohio University is the small class sizes compared to other larger schools close by, such as Ohio State University. I've heard from many OSU students that there was virtually no contact with professors, only TAs. That is why OU worked for me as any class it was very easy to reach out and discuss any question you have with the professor. Even if you just wanted to grab lunch! Being in a small town type of area with nothing surrounding it was great too. Everywhere you looked you would see only college students that you have been spending the past four years with! Class selection was great along with the fact that OU had a substantial amount of students with jobs prior to graduating! All in all, I'm so glad to have picked Ohio University.
