Why go to Ohio State? How do I even begin?? Not only are the academics incredible, but campus feels like home. Throughout my senior year, a plethora of people would ask "but aren't you afraid you'll feel like a number?", but the answer is no, and I probably never will feel that way. As buckeyes we are all linked together. We all dislike Michigan, we all love the great state of Ohio (even if you're not from here you'll grow to love it to), and we all worked hard to get where we are. Campus is home. Beyond these facets of campus culture, nothing can describe the amazing feeling of the shoe on game day, or campus as a whole a week before the Michigan game. With all of that said, classes will push you hard and academics aren't easy. But, the professors genuinely care about your well-being. All in all, OSU has something to offer for everyone!

I am a life long Ohio resident but wanted to go to a school in Florida. I received a scholarship to Florida State and attended for 1 semester. I missed my family and boyfriend so I moved back home and transferred to OSU.
OSU is about the same size of Florida state but it is more expensive in every way. Tuition is higher, students pay for student sport tickets., parking is outrageous ( I am commuter). Everything you do has a charge.
I was on the presidents list in Florida and am on academic probation at OSU because I had trouble in one class, which I feel they were out to fail everyone they could!
Maybe if I started as a freshman I might like it more, I did get a student job at the medical center. There are lots of activities/clubs you can get into.
Absolutely amazing place, I love every part of this campus and school! The football game days are insane with huge parties to tailgate at every single frat and Thursday-Saturday nights are crazy. The most popular spot to party is the bars on High Street. Some Tuesdays are fun too. The workload is not too hard and professors are generally very nice and care about their students. Midwestern nice is a real thing, people in Ohio are very nice and considerate, including the fellow students. It's very easy to make friends and involve yourself in a wide variety of activities.
