My experience at OSU Mansfield has been an experience that is worth more than words can say. But, to try to put it in words, I would say that it is the most welcoming environment. Here at OSU Mansfield, everyone is friendly and willing to help each other. The professors are absolutely amazing and try to get to know who you are. The classes are small with about 20-50 people per class. This campus offers many things that you could never get on a bigger campus. The best part is that it's cheaper! The on campus living is an apartment complex, so no cramped up dorm room. If you plan to go to the main campus they make the transition very smooth for you. The friendships and academic achievement that I have had this past year has been absolutely outstanding.

With Covid-19 the transition to online classes has been quite the challenge for many students who prefer face to face meeting such as myself. While Columbus has handled the transition pretty well, the spring 2020 semester I spent at Mansfield was slightly better. I think smaller class sizes contributed slightly, but the fact that Mansfield professors take the time to know you more personally than at Columbus definitely helps. I can defiantly give praise to the Mansfield professors for helping us translation to online learning smoothly. This helped a ton with taking summer classes online at Columbus.
Ohio State University Mansfield is a good regional campus. The professors are really hit or miss. There are some very wonderful professors and there are also some very poor professors. The campus is good. The athletics were cut. The on campus housing is poor. The off campus housing Buckeye Village was the place to be. The university is in a convenient location!
