My study was massage. The curriculum was self explanatory. Of I did not understand a subject, Professor Bethune and Professor Coon made sure I understood before moving forward.

The work load was very heavy, but I managed to get through. The financial aid process (internally) was a little unorganized. There was barely follow up on what was owed.

My studies included anatomy & physiology I thru VI, history of massage, & several different massage modality.

In closing, the program was wonderful. I am equipped with the tools I needed to work in the field of massage.
Review Ohio College of Massotherapy
One of the only online schools for massage available. Always some kinks for online but you can't beat the freedom to study the way that works for you. You must be self disciplined, motivated. Don't expect hand holding or perfection. There ARE times you MUST be available, for Q and As, weekend seminars and in-school massage class and all are vital. Program highly scientifically based but you WILL pass boards if you generally do well in school, pass their tests and don't freak out. Your massage will be superior--go for the associates degree rather than the shortcut diploma because the extra seminars will equip you to offer massage therapy in addition to relaxation massage. Be a leader, an adult and you'll do well. The school is serious, takes no riff raff and that helps the serious student. Some staff are outstandingly good. Be kind, patient and forgiving with the office staff, which is often new and overturning. Don't know why that is but the program is superior.
The Ohio College of Massotherapy was a great online experience. The instructors were very attentive and made sure I understood the courses. I am now enrolled in AI Institute of PA. My classes begin in two weeks.
