A very affordable college option, particularly for students wanting to build their college portfolio before transferring to a larger university, or for individuals wanting to boost their careers with vocational training and certifications. The school goes above and beyond to offer opportunities for people who want them, with easy payment options, online and hybrid classes, and even weekend school for those who work during the week. The academics are challenging, yet professors are understanding and encouraging. For such a small school, Odessa College offers a lot to the community.

I love the online courses I am taking. They have always been straight and to the point and all of my professors are very accessible, there are even some who answer questions and emails on their weekends! They've done everything in their power to make sure the success of their students takes first priority if they show effort and determination, as any college student should. I give this college five stars because they've shown me what a five star college show be for a student.
Many of the professor are personable and provided a high-quality education for the students. I had a lot of great interaction with them. I wish Odessa College could offer a greater variety of courses and programs. The majority of the courses are 8 weeks. I understand that the students want to obtain their degree at a faster rate. I think it lower the quality of the learning experience and the courses increasingly become more difficult. Also, I think the academic advisers are mediocre at best. They mislead the students in several cases. They do not offer any guidance in researching colleges, extracurricular, external scholarships. I thought the professors are more helpful in guiding student with their educational decisions. I feel like the advisers are simply their for the paycheck and often the process of transferring the students. Nevertheless, Odessa College provided me a comfort zone of exploration and made me a greater student. Overall, I enjoy my experience at Odessa College.
