Oakland City University Reviews
Rating 3.37 out of 5 95 reviews
Oakland City University is an amazing Christian Campus. I love it there. There is Chapel every Wednesday at 11am. The dorms are ok, especially the one that I am living in now. The other residence halls are amazing. Oakland City University has a softball team, men and women tennis, men and women basketball, cross country, and are getting a football team next semester.
My experience at Oakland City University so far has been really great. The classes that I am taking aren't that stressful. The students and professors here are really respectful to all of us. It is a beautiful campus and it makes me feel like I am around good people where we are in a Christian atmosphere. Oakland City University has a lot of things that they offer. I wanted to come to OCU because of what they offered. Oakland City University helps give money to those that are in need of financial help and it's just a great college to attend. Even though the town is small, the school is in a great place and it keeps building and becoming bigger every year. The college is a Christian school and the professors are always telling us to go to the chapel and why we should tell others about the school, which I find really amazing. They offer classes that teach about the Bible and God, which is also really amazing. The atmosphere here is beyond great.
Oakland City University is a place in which I have truly met lifetime friends. Most professors are kind and help you on a personal level. But, there has been a few instances in which I was truly ashamed to call this my future alma mater. True hate, professors who do not care, and greed high up have made an absolutely frustrating experience. Also, it’s just way too expensive.
