Northwood is an excellent school that focuses on the quality of education and sets a solid foundation for students to launch into their careers. The school is very diverse in terms of students, with a large portion of international students, while also offering a multitude of studying abroad opportunities. Northwood utilizes real world experience, hiring professors with career experience in the field they are teaching, offering students an opportunity to learn in and out of the classroom. Students are taught the expectations of the real world and how to capitalize on each opportunity presented to them. I would highly recommend any student to attend Northwood University!

I’ve completed my first semester at Northwood, about to go into my second. I haven’t had a moment of regret coming to this university. For me it’s very close to home which is another positive. I earned the best grades I have my entire academic career last semester (all A’s and one A-).The teacher are understanding and are willing to devote extra time, I’ve never had a bad interaction with anyone on campus. Highly recommend Northwood especially if a smaller environment is for you!
I love attending Northwood! Although a small campus might be a bit off-putting to some, the 10-minute maximum walk across campus is pretty nice. Northwood is small enough to feel like family, but large enough to where you could meet someone new every day. The campus in Midland is absolutely beautiful in the fall and winter months. Being in the middle of the woods, once all of the trees change colors the campus truly is something special, and it looks like a winter wonderland once snow falls. Northwood has a new president this year, and he has already made some great changes. Food options on campus are somewhat limited because of the small campus size, but are great nonetheless. Overall, Northwood is a great place to further your education if you are okay with living on a small scale.
