Northwood University - Midland Reviews
In my opinion, Northwood has many things that it needs to improve. I transferred after my first semester, as I knew right away it was not for me. After getting a new food supplier, the food is still very poor. Socially, going to Northwood is like going to high school. The social atmosphere is very similar to a high school's, and that could be caused by its small size. I enjoyed my professors, but not much else. You will not get the full "college experience" if you go to Northwood. It's very quiet, and there is not much to do on the weekends. Most students will go home or visit a friend at a different school, and for good reason. Some students may desire a small school with a quiet atmosphere, but as for me and many other students, I find it very boring. Personally, I would not recommend Northwood to someone who is looking to attend a legitimate university and get that full feeling.
One thing I love about Northwood University is there professor student connection. Last week I attended a visit and I loved it. I felt as if they wanted me there and I felt so welcome, as if I were part of their family. Everyone was so nice to me and I even got to attend a football game. The staff was nice and everyone was very understanding and straight forward. Northwood is the first college iv'e actually felt comfortable in. I highly recommend Northwood University to anyone seeking a degree in business.
As a freshman at NU, I absolutely love it. Everyone on campus is so nice and welcoming. The professors and staff are always willing to help out and with smaller class sizes I get tons one on one time!
