I currently go to school here. I love the small school environment because there's an unbeatable sense of community. I am a Fashion major with a minor in Entrepreneurship and so far I'm very happy with the way things are going. If you're looking for a business-minded environment, Northwood is the place! The networking opportunities are unreal and it's very easy to get involved in your major early on.

Northwood University is an all business school located in Midland, Michigan. The smallness of the school allows for students to have more hands on experiences, and leadership opportunities they wouldn't have had at a large university such as Michigan State University. The community of Northwood feels at home, and when walking down campus you are sure to know one of the faces you pass by. Northwood University's academics are excellent for business majors, starting your major classes the moment you are a freshman. The professors are exceptional, always there to lend a helping hand if you are struggling in the class. I feel very safe at this campus, which is important in the times we are having currently with school shootings. The only downside I have would be the campus food.
Northwood is a great business school with a broad range of academic programs. If you are passionate about business and want a large variety of business connections this school is for you.

As a former student athlete at Northwood the facilities are very good for a division 2 school and a lot of sports are competitive within the Gliac.

The party scene at Northwood is what you would expect for a small school and is great some weekends and poor on another.

However, if you looking for a full college experience a school like MSU or UofM would be a much better choice.
