Northwest is a great community college with a really good teaching staff! Northwest offers a variety of different programs, and best yet is that the majority of the classes are offered online which has been a huge convenience for me with having a full time career/job! Overall, I like the atmosphere, convenience, teaching staff, etc. One thing I would like to see change, Northwest could provide more activities for students.
I studied at NWCC for 2 years, graduating with an Associates degree is Business Administration. The staff at Northwest were always willing to help if necessary to make sure all students reached their goal of graduating. I changed my major during my time there, and the advisors were super helpful in my transition of courses. I really enjoyed my time at Northwest!
Since I have not enrolled for classes as a freshman, I can’t relay that experience. Although it was very easy to apply for admissions, scholarships, and register for orientation. Any questions I had were promptly answered; NWCC has a great recruiting office. I’m excited to start nursing school in the future!
