Northwest Mississippi Community College Reviews
The best thing about my college is its small. So the teachers recognize you and due to smaller classes you have more opportunity for extra help. This helps when you're struggling because they will work with your efforts. I would like for them to improve on more fields of study for the transfer program they have. It's good for students with degrees like Psychology but if you wanted to go into something like Dietetics then there is no plan for you.. at least with that program. I do love the fact that my school allows for students to get their degree earlier through dual credit courses, mini terms, summer school, and early graduation.
I was apprehensive about attending Northwest for a couple years because Ole Miss has always been my dream and I wanted to attend all four years of undergrad there. Two years later, I'm so glad I decided to take my prerequisites at NWCC. I did have to work a couple jobs part time, so my schedule was pretty packed. I honestly believe it better prepared me for my life at the University of Mississippi and I feel like I've become more responsible and have a greater appreciation for my education. The classes at NWCC were very informative, as well as the professors and they truly do want you to succeed.
Northwest Mississippi Community College is a great facility. It provides a lot of classes with good teachers in order to help you get a great education. Also, the campus is kept very clean and the buildings are very nice and up to date. There are also many opportunities to get involved with the band, theater performances, sports, and different clubs.
