Unless you are someone who has a decent amount of discipline to take virtual classes, do not take online classes. I took a couple throughout my past years at Northwest, and I did not really enjoy them. I got easily distracted, forgot things, and would occasionally get burned out. I honestly feel more compelled to come to class for a face-to-face interaction with my professors. With online courses, you almost have to self-learn the material you are given on your school's assignment website, and that really does not work for me since I feel as if someone else has to teach the material to me. If there are options besides online courses, please consider them!
I first attended Northwest Mississippi Community College Fall of 2021. The application process was fairly simple, and the staff and professors are very helpful, and made me feel welcomed and proud to be apartment of the college, I highly recommend anyone looking for a great education an a memorable college experience to definitely look into attending Northwest Mississippi Community College to further their future goals.
At Northwest Mississippi Community College I enjoy the amount of help that is offered for all subjects. The teachers and residents that live on campus do an awesome job of making it feel like your home away from home. I would recommend NWCC to anyone who is just starting their college experience and might need a little help along the way. The advisors do an excellent job as well with helping students with financial planning, counseling, and academic help tips.
