NorthWest Arkansas Community College Reviews
Rating 3.94 out of 5 598 reviews
I loved this school. The Springdale campus was very nice and beautiful as it was relatively new when I attended. Every single person I interacted with was extremely kind and helpful. I also took some online classes. Almost every professor I had when I attended NWACC was so nice and understanding (apart from maybe one or two) and really cared about their job and subject. This was a great community college with many neat classes (like the Brightwater culinary program) and fun events at the Bentonville campus as well. I really enjoyed taking classes here!
Northwest Arkansas Community College is a small campus with no dorms or rooms but is very close to the local area. Fortunately, the environment is great and quiet for studying such as the Student Center. Not only that but the tuition is very cheap compared to other universities and colleges and the professors are well prepared and actively help the students understand the content. The transition from online to in-person was also smooth and the staff and faculty were very helpful and informative, providing plenty of resources and support. NWACC has various programs and organizations such as F1RSTS and the LIFE program. F1RSTS is about supporting and teaching first-generation college students, while LIFE is about promoting success during and after enrollment and celebrating culture and bringing the community together. Overall, I had a great experience at NWACC with its cheap costs, supportive professors and staff, and the broad range of programs and resources provided to the students.
I am so thankful that NWACC was an option for me. I was so stressed about the cost of school, but NWACC has proved to be an affordable option close to home! On top of the affordability, NWACC is a small campus (comparable to my 3A high school campus) and feels like home. The staff is incredibly friendly and the school provides countless resources for every student.
