Northern Vermont University - Johnson Campus Reviews
I loved the online curriculum and knowledge I gained from each of my online courses. The professors included activities to encourage strategic thinking, creativity, and engagement. I also enjoyed the discussion sessions with my peers. My Senior Seminar course was by far my favorite; although at first it was intimidating. I enjoyed creating my Teaching Week and my Capstone Project. It was a great way to use all of the knowledge and experience I had gained through my experience at Northern Vermont University.
I loved Johnson State when I stayed there. It became a home to me! The campus is beautiful and perfectly placed close to town and other locations with fun events, and the people there are amazing, alongside the food which is always important to consider! Professors are great and willing to work with students during many times of the day, which also goes for the kitchen staff and the admissions office! The dorms are great and super cozy for a college! I miss spending time in the dorm buildings so much! I would do anything to put myself back there with the same group of people for one more night! Overall, I love Johnson State College and would highly recommend it for others!
I really love the hands on experience when learning. The campus is in a beautiful location. All my professors are very helpful and willing to work with you if situations arise. They frequently hold events and have had famous musicians, comedians etc. perform which helps break up the everyday hustle of classes and homework. They have great facilities for workouts, a pool and wellness center. As a nontraditional student being able to still live on campus in campus apartments has been a huge relief to make finishing my degree and not having to worry about community a lot easier.
