This is the best college for everyone. Students can come here and complete all their core classes such as English, History, Science, and Math and then go to the university of their choice for their specialized field. Attending Northeast State will save a student thousands of dollars. Northeast State's mechanical and electrical departments are the college's pride and joy. The college may not exalt it as they should, but without those departments there would be no college. The college's best instructors are in these departments. They care about helping their students succeed. All of the other professors only care about doing what is required by the state; nothing more. This is my third semester at Northeast State, and I am not a electrical or mechanical major, yet I see every week how that department far exceeds the others.
Review Your College
Northeast State Community College is a great school to pursue your hopes and dreams. The college has a wide variety of majors and courses to match your interests. I am in my late twenties and decided to go back to school to pursue a degree for my small business. The advisers have been great to help me stay on track and take the courses necessary to reach my goal. In addition, I have been very impressed with the facility at Northeast State. They are very friendly and educated in the subject they teach. I have enjoyed my time at the community college thus far and look forward to my future courses.
There are several different times to choose for each class. You still have to get crafty when planning your schedule. Some advisors will help you with this.

The one thing that frustrates me the most is not allowing me to count certain classes for the requirements. For instance, I wanted to take Geology for a Natural Science, but it would only count as an elective. I would still have to take another Natural Science class to complete my degree. This happened on several occasions.
