A career in Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration is an excellent choice. Our society has exponentially advanced in technology within the past century. Unfortunately many industries have outsourced jobs to seek cheaper labor and taxes. The HVAC/R industry simply cannot be outsourced on the technician level because the mechanical systems must be installed, maintained and repaired on site. The industry is starving for new technicians as the consumer, commercial and industrial demand is extremely strong.

The HVAC/R program at NDSCS is great! The instructors are excellent as they go above and beyond to help their students succeed. I find the curriculum great as I enjoy physical science, electricity and mechanical systems. A majority of my peers actually have their tuition paid by employers. I would highly suggest to anyone looking for a career that enjoys not only working with your hands but your mind too.
Review Your College
My experience at North Dakota State college of Science has been great! I am pursuing an Associate in Applied Science degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology. I absolutely love physical science and electricity which enables me to excel in my program. I have maintained a consecutive 4.0 grade point average during my tenure at North Dakota State College of Science. My instructors are very passionate about their work and are dedicated to the success of their students. I do not regret my choice to attend as I am very satisfied with the education that I am receiving.
The Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration industry is flourishing! Companies are eager to hire as they struggle to keep up with the persistent demand. Our modern society demands the HVAC/R industry; from preserving food and medicine to making us comfortable in our homes and offices.

Although their are more jobs available than applicants, companies are seeking quality trained technicians. Pursuing an education from North Dakota State College of Science is an excellent choice!
