My four years at NC State University were incredible! The student body is diverse, welcoming, and supportive, and the faculty/staff are encouraging and truly want you to succeed. My experience in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences was particularly outstanding - there are numerous opportunities to get involved, make connections, and learn more about potential careers. NC State has excellent facilities, a world-class library, never-ending opportunities for growth and engagement in the community, and more. I could not be more satisfied with my time at NC State, and would highly recommend the university to any college student searching for their next home.

I loved studying here! It was a big campus-but that just meant there was so much to explore. There were many activities to interest every type of student from athletics to student government and everything in between. There was student transportation so getting to class was never an issue as the Wolfline bus system ran all over the area. The student life was pretty amazing. There is a state of the art library as well as many places to eat on and around campus. Just minutes from downtown Glenwood Ave. nightlife was unlimited. There were tons of bars, nightclubs and restaurants.
NC State.. my "dream school" ladies and gentlemen. This was the first school I visited when I began my college search and I loved it. When I went back before officially applying, I still loved it. What turned me away? The admitted students day.

All this school wanted to focus on was statistics. I heard no genuine opinions of the school. What also struck me was that the school avoided the discussion of rape and sexual assault completely. If this isn't the definition of a red flag, then I'm not sure what is. Following this, I went to the panel for incoming engineers. When I tried to bring up the topic, THERE WERE GROANS COMING FROM MY FUTURE CLASSMATES. The girl who "answered" my question could not have been more scripted too.

If you want a school that only cares about statistics and their rankings and who only care for passing their "competition" (although Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, and Ohio State all rank higher than this school), then congratulations! You found your school!
