I have all my classes online and I love taking online classes. Online classes work better for my schedule. North Arkansas College has taken steps to help students transfer from in person teaching to online teaching.
North Arkansas college has been on top of things since covid-19 hit. They have kept their students up to date with information you need to know about covid-19 and what steps they have taken. They also send out emails to remind you to register for classes and they remind you to get your books before class begins.
Due to our country's ongoing pandemic I don't have the "normal" experience at this college but I've really liked it so far. My professors have been so forgiving and understanding through distance learning and I'm so grateful. They've also all made to sure to make themselves available all the time for anyone that needs help. Out of all the staff I've come into contact with, most of them have been super sweet and helpful with the exception of one or two women who didn't have the best attitudes. Overall, it's a super affordable college with really good staff and professors.
Though I just started my online classes(fully online aka not zoom classes) , they are good so far. My professors have made everything self explanatory which has helped me to understand what I need to do and what my goals are very easily.
Community colleges have had a bad reputation simply because of the connotation. However, this college offers all the benefits and options that a typical university would have. It has a couple of campuses, campus security, informative teachers, and robust student clubs and activities.
North Arkansas College is the greatest. They work very well with my scheduling and provide my classes online.
I don’t have to worry about working with a class I can do it all on my own. They do a very well job with planning the class work and have it put up ahead of time.
My experience at North Ark college was good. Everyone is so nice and helpful. You make friends easily. I would like to see more sports added to the college.
I take all my classes online due to the COVID-19. All the teacher are not to hard on us because it's different than what we're use to. The understand when we don't understand something.
The teachers are very helpful in helping me apply to college and setting up my FASFA while in talent search.
North Arkansas College is a great place to start. It has lower tuition and several different branches of education.
NorthArk is a lot better than what it is said to be. The small school feel is still there, and the faculty have a one-on-one relationship with their students, making my experience with my classes a lot easier.
I have taken some college classes while still in high school, ( still being at my high school) and I would love to see more college professor involvement and working with the the school to show that students can go to the college for extra help and it would not be held against them!
I would highly recommend attending North Arkansas College to attain General Studies knowledge or receive an Associate's Degree. My time and experience at North Arkansas College was invaluable and allowed me to transition gracefully from a naive, unsure, nervous teen into a young lady who was confident in pursuing other ventures. The feel of the campus and students, along with the staff, help North Arkansas College to feel homey. I received a great education, through knowledgeable professors and the process of transferring has been one of ease, thus far. The staff has been quick with their responses of any questions I've had and they've been eager to help me in before mentioned process of transferring to a 4 year university. They have several classes to choose from, so, there is literally something to choose for everyone. From young to old, you will feel you have a place at North Arkansas College.
I've had a wonderful experience at this college. Students are welcoming. Professors are open minded and great at what they do. There are multiple opportunities to receive help with your courses. THERE'S FREE TUTORING!
They’re very open and ready to help in most instances. It’s a good experience and a fun place to study and learn.
People out there are more than friends because they always take care of everyone in the college. With or without help, you are catered for. The classes are good with the best student to teacher ratio. The teachers always make an effort to improve your education life.
