Newschool of Architecture and Design is a fantastic place for those who are interested in Architecture, Construction, and Design. What I enjoy about the school is the ability to share and provide feedback among peers when performing projects or assignments. Another factor as to why Newschool has been an excellent experience for me so far, is because of its encouragement towards students to think outside of the norm of what most people face and be critical about any challenges that students in Newschool come across. My skills while in Newschool has been, in my opinion, strengthened and reinforced because of the positive and helpful environment that the institution provides for everyone attending.
I am transferring into the new school of architecture this fall. Therefore, I haven’t taken any classes with them yet. However, I have visited their campus multiple time and it’s absolutely beautiful. All the students seem to know each other and all get along like a family. I have been working with a few different departments to make my transfer success. The admission, financial aid, and career department have all been extremely helpful. They have been very responsive, flexible, and have given me lots of personalized instruction.
I have yet to start at this school, but looking through reviews from alumni and current students, I am extremely excited for this school year. The campus life seems like it is an almost perfect fit for my personality, and I went on a tour of the campus while they were in session, so I was able to really get an idea of how my day-to-day life would be when attending this college.
