Very hands-on learning and great friendly and safe environment. Offer help with housing, renting, and carpooling. They also have an in-house clinic where you get to learn how to run on business. Also they have externships where students usually get hired after they graduate.
Overall, my experience with NHI has been decent. Not a perfect school by any means, but not one I would recommend right away. Personally, I think all classes should start in the west rather than potentially starting in a module that teaches a modality no place of employment is looking for, just feel like that may help students more. Some of the faculty could stand to be a little more professional, rather than act like you inconvenienced then by merely asking a question. All in all, not a terrible school, but not one worth coming back to. Just get your degree and go.
My experience so far at National Holistic Institute -Ontario has been excellent!! I am only a week in.. and the atmosphere is unlike any other campus I have attended in my time as a student. My time there has already helped me gain unsurpassed knowledge.. by helping me get comfortable with other students and myself. There is a lot of self reflection and time too work on your own energy as a practitioner, which is amazing. I really feel that the way they approach teaching with Auditory Visual and Kinesthetic is the best way to help the student retain the information & help incorporate it into different parts of their life. I am very excited to continue my journey & commit my time at National Holistic Institute!
