Nashville State Community College Reviews
It is affordable, lots of options are offered, and class sizes were small. I like my professors and they are passionate about the material. There are enough times and courses to meet my schedule and allow me to move forward. Anyone who says they can't afford to go back to school, that their schedule won't allow it- You have no excuse at NSCC- they will offer you tutoring, they have online courses and traditional courses, all days, times, with testing centers and support staff, all with being not even $1000 a course- Great place to learn!
Nashville State Community College is a wonderful school. The campus is absolutely beautiful and very clean. There is also a lot of diversity, which allows students to connect with people from all backgrounds. Teachers are also very attentive, encouraging and do what they can to help their students succeed. There is a lack of school spirit and community. This school lacks clubs, sports, and other ways to establish community within the school. The financial aid office also could improve their staff members and hire more staff that tries their best to help students.
As an older student, meaning I have two sons that have already graduated college, I was quite nervous about starting again, but was happy to find out that my first semester went very well. I was welcome to the college warmly and enjoyed learning from the students as well as the professors, and also respected by both groups. The younger students made me feel as though they respected my option and seemed to care about what I had to say during class discussions. I am very happy with my experience at NSCC so far, and can not wait for the spring semester to start. Thank you NSCC, students, instructors, and Veterans Administration for giving me this wonderful opportunity to better my life, and my family is very thankful, also.
