Mt. Hood Community College Reviews
Very friendly staff. I'd say 9/10 instructors excel in their teaching. I've had a couple that just completely left me behind, and 2 that were way too lenient in their teaching. Most are great. Pretty honest community. I've forgotten and left behind expensive stuff like my Phone, calculator, and even my laptop; all were turned into lost and found. Great Community College!
Mt. Hood is awesome, cheap, and a lot of fun. I’m thankful I’ve come to Mt. Hood. However, some advisors aren’t very good help. But it’s easy to find all of your answers on myMHCCPortal (online.) Thankfully, one of my instructors is also an advisor and he’s awesome! I’ve had amazing teachers and have learned so much.
I started college right after high school and I wasn't going because i wanted it. I went because that was expected of me. My grades started out really well at first until I stopped going to class. I stopped wanting school. This college has resources to help you succeed and more than enough people to ask for guidance and tutelage and there is no reason you should be unable to pursue what you want. If you want to better yourself and make exciting pathways towards your future, that is very possible to achieve with a little work on your part. Im starting school again 8 1/2 years later and now that im ready to put in the work, I can feel the difference in myself and how much in want this. And I have no doubt Im going to be great. And u have no doubt the staff and resources at Mt. Hood Community College will help me get there.
