Mountwest Community & Technical College Reviews
Mountwest Community and Technical College offered smaller classes and professors that were helpful and interested in teaching you the course in your major. They made assignments hands-on, allowed paired assignments and gave us time to ask questions and get important feedback. Earning my degree at MCTC was very challenging at times, but overall a wonderful experience. It they offered Bachelor's programs, it would have been my first choice!
The one and fairly big issue I had with MCTC was that the classes they offered were at the convenience of people with children. Meaning, those students preferred early morning/mid-afternoon classes so it wouldn't take away from their family time. However, for me, this meant I had to frequently miss work, lose money and travel approximately 45 minutes to class, sometimes twice in one day. If they would fix this issue and make more classes available in the evenings and online, it would get a perfect rating from me.
My professors consisted of police officer's, lawyers and paralegals. Because of this, I feel that these professors were able to adequately teach the students important skills and necessary information that will actually be useful in the real world.
