The Medical Billing and Coding program was a thorough course of actual practical skills. I really thought that the course has prepared me for job placement. Some of the course work, Like ICD 9, I found redundant. They have, however managed to updated the curriculum since then. The only reason I feel like I could not give it 5 stars is that the program has had staffing issues as of late. During the night course, their have been multiple teachers come and go which has made it difficult as their standards varied. Great independent study course!
The programs at MTECH allowed me to pursue an effective, independent education. I loved knowing that everything I learned was for a practical purpose, and the return investment for all the technical skills was fantastic. The environment was also excellent. All the teachers and students were really friendly.
I am currently going to MTech, and it has been great so far. It will definitely help me get where I need to be. I love the teachers, the program is set up well, and I've learned a lot. They're trying to switch the machinist course (which I'm in) to 90 hours in the classroom, I'm in 120 hours and I believe it would limit how much students can learn if they only had 90.
